Muchos de vosotros me conocéis por mi trabajo en Magokoro, pero si bien esta nueva etapa no tiene (en principio) que ver con el diseño de camisetas, la esencia es la misma y el deseo de expresar a través del arte también.
Tras el cierre de un ciclo, comenzar uno nuevo es algo más que una oportunidad (para mi una bendición) y hacerlo junto a un nuevo año es todo un “subidón”.
Una vez más, entrar en una especialidad que no conoces del todo, la experimentación de técnicas, la investigación de otros soportes, sistemas de impresión, canales, etc. sumado a la oportunidad de descubrir y conocer nuevas personas, hacen que, además de un desafío, sea un inmenso placer.
A pesar de estar siempre ligado al arte, el diseño y el haberlo hecho para trabajos comerciales, pintar e ilustrar libremente (sin dejar que mueran en una cajón) ha sido una materia pendiente desde hace años.
La búsqueda libertad creativa, la necesidad de expresar y absoluta de crear (lo que fuera), el uso terapéutico y espiritual del arte, y un gran número de coincidencias de estos últimos meses, me han guiado hasta aquí, animándome a difundir mi nuevo trabajo, que espero disfrutéis tanto como yo al crearlo.

Many of you already know me for my work at Magokoro and although this new stage has nothing to do with T-shirts´design, the essence and my desire to express myself through art is the same.
Having closed a circle, the beginning of a new one is much more than an opportunity (I see it as a blessing) and carrying it out in a new year is “a push upwards”
Once again, meddling in a speciality I do not handle that skilfully is a real pleasure in addition to a challenge; it allows for my experimentation of new techniques, the investigation of other supports, printing systems, channels and the like, plus the chance to meet and discover new people.
Painting and illustrating freely (without letting prints die in a drawer) have been two things I have wanted to do for a long time without success, despite being always linked to art and design, which I have used to do commercial work.
The search for creative freedom, the absolute need to express and create (no matter what), the therapeutic and spiritual use of art and a great number of coincidences over the last few months, have brought me here, encouraging me to make my new work known, which I hope, you enjoy as much as I do when I create it.
